The Redbird SD is a fully enclosed AATD.  With its wrap-around visual system, the Redbird SD will totally immerse you in your flight training.  It’s versatile enough for single or multi-engine training and represents a traditional 6-pack avionics configuration.  In short, the SD provides a government approved fully enclosed visually stunning flight simulator.

 

Advanced Aviation Training

• Instructor Single engine    $65/hr

• Instructor Multi engine     $85/hr

• Single or Multi engine ATTD   $75/hr

 

Each activity will be subject to our standard Pre/Post charge of 0.5 hours at the standard rate of $65 per hour Single engine or $85 Multi engine.

 

With the current Letter of Authorization, the Redbird can be used for dual instruction for the following operations.  They must be conducted in accordance with the Part 61 and Part 141 of the Federal Aviation Regulations:

 

• 61.51(b)(3) Logbook entries;

• 61.51(h) Logging training time;

• 61.57(c) Instrument experience;

• 61-57(d)(1) Instrument proficiency check, per the Instrument ACS;

• 61.65(i) Instrument rating; up to 20 hours;

• 61.109(k)(1) Private Pilot Certificate aeronautical experience: up to 2.5 hours;

• 61.129(i)(1)(i) Commercial Pilot Certificate: up to 50 hours;

• 61.159(a)(4)(i) Airline Transport Pilot Certificate: up to 25 hours; and

• 141.41(b) Approved for use under the part 141 appendices as follows: B,C,D,E,F,G,I,M.
